Right of withdrawal and returns

As a consumer, you normally have 14 days from receiving your goods to withdraw from your purchase. Notify us within this period at kontakt@tropdesign.se, preferably including your name and order number. Return the goods within 14 days of notifying us.

You may inspect the goods to establish their characteristics and function. Unopened original packaging is not a condition of your right to withdraw. Pack your return securely, preferably in the original packaging.

You pay return shipping when exercising your right of withdrawal. For an accepted claim concerning faulty goods, we cover necessary return costs. Please contact us before returning faulty goods so we can help.

Refunds

For withdrawals, we refund you within 14 days of your notice. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that you have returned them, whichever is earlier. We use the same payment method as your purchase unless expressly agreed otherwise at no extra cost to you.

If you return your entire order, we also refund the cost of our least expensive standard delivery. Additional charges for a more expensive delivery option are not refundable. Where legally permitted, we may deduct any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods' characteristics and function.

Faulty goods

In Sweden, you have 3 years to make a claim for original defects under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. Contact us within a reasonable time after discovering the fault; notification within two months is always considered timely. Please describe the problem and preferably include your order number and photographs.

You are entitled to remedies under applicable consumer law, normally repair or replacement first and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or cancellation. This policy does not affect your mandatory consumer rights.

Personalised goods

An exception to the right of withdrawal may apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. We inform you of any applicable exception before purchase. Manufacturing a lamp from our standard range only after an order is placed does not, by itself, remove your right of withdrawal. Your rights concerning faulty goods also apply to personalised items.
